Look at that bulbous nose, those little slit eyes, those fat lips, and the brontosaurus neck and tell me honestly you hope someone doesn't wreck his ****.

You're one of the nicest posters on here. To see you savagely destroy Brady Tkachuk is both confusing and hilarious.

And he probably gets laid more than any of us could have ever imagined at that age...

That's what's truly pathetic.

Does anyone remember reading The Hockey Rodent's website? No idea what happened to that guy, but I'm starting to think he might be ReggieDunlop68. The styles are almost identical...
I was a loyal reader of The Rodent for years. He had an account here. Not sure what happened to him but no, I don't believe they are the same person. Although, they are similar and that may be why I find Reggie hilarious.

Great game guys very entertaining even though my sens lost .

Mika continues to be a Senator killer and your young guy Chytil is a star in the making.

Congrats!
Hotsam Batcho (accidentally) killed Namestnikov. Unforgivable.

I took my eye off of things and looked back at the screen and someone was jawing with a Sens player. Might have been Kreider. I looked and the guy at thought it was Blake Griffin. Blake is a normal looking dude, but obviously the dude I was seeing wasn't Blake Griffin. When I realized it was Tkachuk, I was like, f*** me, that dude is weird looking. I Googled him and that made it worse. His dad is a normal guy, Matt is a normal guy, even the cousins--the Fitzgerald's and the Hayes's--are generic dudes. I remember Brady as a curly-haired, nerdy-looking teenager on Team USA. Christ, he did not grow into his body. He looks like he's on the path to being a mutant Larry from the Three Stooges.

Flamingos usually stand on one leg while the other is tucked beneath their bodies. The reason for this behaviour is not fully understood.

One theory is that standing on one leg allows the birds to conserve more body heat, given that they spend a significant amount of time wading in cold water.

However, the behaviour also takes place in warm water and is also observed in birds that do not typically stand in water. An alternative theory is that standing on one leg reduces the energy expenditure for producing muscular effort to stand and balance on one leg.

A study on cadavers showed that the one-legged pose could be held without any muscle activity, while living flamingos demonstrate substantially less body sway in a one-legged posture.

As well as standing in the water, flamingos may stamp their webbed feet in the mud to stir up food from the bottom.

Flamingos are capable flyers, and flamingos in captivity often require wing clipping to prevent escape.

**** you Hughes.
GO PINKY!!!!!

If you find it funny, the issue is with you.
I don't have a problem having a good time, just not at anothers misfortune. But hey, you do you.
The literal basis of all comedy is to lighten, make light of or mock tragedy.

It's a natural defense mechanism we all have to cope and it's perfectly healthy. It's also healthy to draw your own lines. Based on everyone here I think you're line might be a lot easier to reach than others so idk what to tell ya.

@ReggieDunlop68 mentioned 20-45 times that Chytil might need a good deal of strength training to meet his potential in the NHL in his natural playstyle.
He absolutely needs strength work. So too do Howden and Andersson. Which one expects for them to get. These kids have not even matured into their bodies yet.

Fast should not be playing above the 3rd line. Like his work, but he is not a top 6 forward.

He's a hell of a lot more useful to this team than Spooner, that's for sure. Hard to believe he was drafted 5th overall though.

5th overall doesn't mean a guarantee of much. He has 364 games in the NHL so far with 165p. I wouldn't consider that a bad pick at #5. Is it a home run? No. But he's a useful depth player. He reminds me so much of Namestnikov with his simple playing style, ability to play wing/center and age.

Look at this homer over here suggesting that Kevin Hayes is normal looking

I think Gorton made a very good point when he acquired Strome --- we didn't pick him fifth overall. We didn't trade Eberle for him.

As such, none of those expectations exist.

If Strome finds his niche at a bottom six, or even fourth line winger who can pop in 10-15 goals, 20-30 points, play with a little edge, and play a complimentary role, that's a good player to have and a good fit for this team.

I was so mad I didn't get the trivia, haha. I thought the 3 defensemen with 29 points in their first 50 games were Leetch, Zubov, and Ruotsalainen. Knew Reijo had like 50-60 points in his first year so figured he was a lock. Turns out he had 30 in his last 30 games that year so he only had like 26 through 50 :shakehead (it was actually Leetch, Zubov, and Greschner)
