That'd be enough for a W, and equates to about 18-28 more minutes of effort than the opposition.

Effort, or lack thereof, has been the biggest issue thus far for Buffal_

You guys have slipped behind Columbus for dead last in Fenwick Close. It seems like you just can't hang with the opposition at ES and are constantly getting outshot. This unfortunately doesn't seem like a cold streak for Buffalo, but a fundamental problem with the team.

What do you think the problem is? Not enough speed? Not enough effort? Forecheck? Breakouts?

A great hockey market like Buffalo deserves better than this!

There are no easy games in the NHL. Or at least, you can't go in looking for an easy game. I think we carry the play but win a low-scoring game.

Then we trade Gaborik for Vanek after the win. ;)

;) It's alright by me, I don't have Center Ice and even if I did, I don't have time to watch every game ever, so I'm always curious to hear about what's going right and what's going wrong for teams that aren't the NYR or Colorado Avalance, who I always make sure to watch for myself.
 
Always close games when we play the Sabres, regardless of how the teams are trending. Had to go to a shootout with them without Vanek.

Ignoring the first ten minutes of Sunday's game, it'd be nice if the Rangers played the same way they did for the last 50. Keep getting points, and keep rolling.

BTW

Drew Stafford career against the Rangers: 19 games, 6g, 6a. So, not the biggest Rangers killer, but half his goals this season have come against the Rangers ;)

They only hire Bill Pidto because someone has to do MSG 150, the fastest 150 seconds in the National, Hockey, League. Sam and Joe are too old to talk that fast. Sam would butcher 13 names talking that fast. Stan, Dave, Al are all too old as well. Let's get John to replace Bill for the MSG 150. I actually wouldn't mind having John G for MSG 150.
