[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

Especially losing when you’re tied going into the third period. You don’t know how you’re going to respond.
This was our first afternoon game, we were live right from the start, even in the room, we had a good response.
You’ve got to feel good about yourself. We’ve got to build off of this, we’ve got a big road trip starting here.
- Ryan McDonagh

I've got to be consistent now. We've got a good team here. We've got a lot of guys that can play and we've got some depth.
But I want to be part of it and I think, if I am going the way I should, we are a better team. That's my focus and that's what I am going to do.
- Brian Boyle

When he let the first one in, it was, "Oh, ****", it could be seven or eight going in. But in a key part of the game, he made some saves.
Marty really does settle a team down. He helps us get out of our end zone because he moves the puck so well.
We get him in a game, he wins us a game. He gives Hank a day off, plus a full day off.
- John Tortorella

I can't remember the last blowout

Our 5-2 Toronto game comes the closest to mind. Before that, I think it was some game against Florida last season. We haven't had one of those cartoonish blowouts in forever.

the sabres looked horrible in the last 10 mins against the flyers that i watched. it was almost comical watching them try to skate every rush into the flyers zone and turning it over at the blueline or in the neutral zone.
