These guys just don't pass well. It's like they don't practice passing while skating. They end breakouts all on their own, give up turnovers, and get unnecessarily pinned in their end because they can't make a decent pass.

And they're slow, and lose most battles, and suck in general.

Thanks, MSE. I know that it officially counts because of non-season games. But what I was driving at was that his play was substandard enough to be left off the playoff roster and it isn't any better while he meanders around the ice.

Yes, OK. I interpreted it partly as that. It is why when the Blackhawks come to town, the notes will say "The Flyers have won the last 16 NHL games at Philadelphia" or the "Flyers have not lost an NHL game at home to Chicago since 1996." Voodoo words.

With the advent of a healthy Allison, what f***ing point is there with JVR on the PP or anywhere? I'm not expecting much from JVR and he still keeps disappointing me.
