19 Derick Brassard is on IR with a lower body strain (Nov. 23) later revealed as a hip injury and was expected out 7-to-10 days (Nov. 26). He will return tonight (Dec. 8).
44 Nate Thompson is not on IR but out several weeks after shoulder surgery (Nov. 30).
51 Ryan Fitzgerald is on Injured non-roster/season-opening IR (Sept. 25). It was later revealed that he had hip surgery.

Kind of difficult to change systems within that many games when AV’s chip and dump stink will be ingrained in this team’s psyche for a while. We’re more likely to just see a free wheeling “system” like last night which makes for entertaining hockey but probably plenty of L’s and hits to Hart’s confidence.

I cant believe that things like an iron man streak can allow someone so bad to stay in the lineup. If york or zamula made any of the million mistakes that yandle makes daily, they would be sent to the minors

While the losing streak continues I will have to play a lot more hockey with my tabletop game.
So I decided to add another team by repainting an existing squad. Here come the 90‘s Whalers.
About as successful as the Flyers of present.

The right thing to do hockey wise is take Yandle out. The Flyers are in no win situation if they take him out though, the optics would be horrible, on the other hand his play is trash. This(the record) shouldn't matter in decisions, but it does. What is he, 20 games away? At this point if it hasn't happened, it probably won't.

A lot of Flyers problem are there inablity to make simple reads or passes, not systemic breakdowns. Does anyone get excited on a Flyers odd man rush? I just wait to see how they're going to f*** it up, which is vast majority of time. They need better entries for sure, so I guess if that's a "systems" problem, it should be aaddressed. Among other things.
