Ya I don't see kane being mover either unless we lose a bunch now and he decides to move onUnless the Wings just bomb out the rest of the way to the deadline I don't see them selling. I don't see Kane being traded period. I don't think he is desperate to chase a cup, and I think he has a NMC. It'd also be too big a blow to the guys, even though I question his fit sometimes.
Tank could be dealt but I don't consider that selling as he just hasn't fit well with the team. Clearing his spot for next season and maybe gaining a bit of cap space would be solids for this year.
If we sell I would anticipate it to be Veleno, Chiarot, Fischer, and possibly Gus (I doubt they'd deal Chia and him at once). Lyon or Talbot could also be maybes. If Talbot were dealt I'd anticipate them resigning Lyon prior.
I mostly agree with your response about the Berg & a 1st for Cozens deal. The only wrench could have been the difference between a protected and unprotected 1st. I could see Stevie having been hesitant to deal a 1st that might have been top 10 prior to Todd's hiring. Now the deal may not appeal to Buffalo as our 1st is currently looking at being a much more mid round pick.
I agree with the names in play to be moved and can probably include a compher Rasmussen for cap purposes if we made a big deal
I dont think anyone will trade an unprotected 1st for cozens I just think theres 0 chance berggren alone would be enough to entice buffalo + theres cap issues to make the deal work as well
I'd try to send them quantity over quality and hope they bite (probably wont)
1st + berggren+ compher+ wallinder+mazur or plante ... I'd try the first 3-4 pieces first , add a 3rd round pick instead but I'm guessing some young prospect will have to go
I know most fans like the last 2 prospects but we have buchelnikov finnie lombardi nygaard kiiskinen as well and I like they're upside more
