Fair enough. Rather have a 6'3 2c than a 5'9 C. That's just meIf Rossi were available (surely after the season), I'd rather just keep him than trying to swap him for Cozens

A team as center starved as Minnesota isn't moving Rossi I don't think.Have there been any rumors of Rossi being available? I dont see Minnesota wanting to part with him, and if they do it wont be cheap. Hes a 23 year old center who is defensively responsible and a lot of Wild fans think he could be a PPG guy as soon as next season. His biggest knock is being 5'9, but there are probably 5 forwards on the Wings that he would be more physical then on a nightly basis. Debrincat is listed at 5'8 and that doesn't hold him back much, how big someone plays is often more important than their actual size. Rasmussen is 6'6 220 and most nights he could be mistaken for someone with brittle bone disease the way he shys away from contact.

I wouldn't hitch those guys together for ever, im sure the Toddfather won't do that either. First things he did was breaking up Ed-Mo pair. In Kasper's case he might stay in that spot for remaining season but come next off-season camp, he gets moved back to middle. Spread the wealth, depth will work in our favor better than all eggs in one basket solution.Wouldn't break up the top line personally.
Yzerman been drafting more overages lately and this draft expect even more of them get drafted by Wings. And we drafted buchelnikov at 52 in a weak draft class. What's your point?
Who have we taken besides becher and buchelnikov?Yzerman been drafting more overages lately and this draft expect even more of them get drafted by Wings.
Start scout some 19-21 year olds
Fischer Skott , Jack Phelan . Also guys like MBN , Danielson , Dylan James on the older side. I am not saying it's wrong , I am just saying that if this draft is not very good , expect more older guys get drafted, guys who had big improvementWho have we taken besides becher and buchelnikov?

Mazur was drafted at 19.Who have we taken besides becher and buchelnikov?
I'd say our depth recently has really let the Red Wings get away with stacking two lines. (Larkin+/DeBrincat/Copp/Kane) The Rasmussen/Soderblom line duo causes real problems for teams on a shift by shift biases it lately. I'd ride that out till teams figure out an answer for them. I think Kane played with them at times last game, but Berggren is producing nice with them with the space he's given by those two big guys.I wouldn't hitch those guys together for ever, im sure the Toddfather won't do that either.
