Is Flyers' Rasmus Ristolainen a valuable trade target?
Anthony Di Marco of Daily Faceoff: The words few thought would ever hear is that Rasmus Ristolainen would be a solid trade chip have now been uttered. Now, this is coming from several outlets and not just ones based out of Philadelphia.

The Boston Bruins are not actively shopping forward Trent Frederic, despite increased interest from other NHL teams, according to James Murp...
Trent Federics names was mentioned by Kevin Weeks of ESPN. Bostons says they aren't actively shopping him, but if they fall out of playoff favor I'm sure teams will double back.
Both guys are players I'd be interested in early.
Normally I say crazy but... if Lyon is hurt for a few weeks an Husso has to play, would picking up Kahkonen for a week and waiving Husso be the smarter move?

I would have said f*ck it take a flyer on AA unless he was a problem on the team and see if he can bounce back here considering we cant score at all but I wasn't aware he was making like 4.5 lol

The only five of the top of my head that created a lengthy career so far are Ironhook with Nashville/Toronto as a bottom 6 center, LFG, and what's his name on Washington the bottom pairing defender RHD guy oh yeah, Jensen. He skates fast but for the life of me I can't remember his name atm. Bertuzzi is still around but hanging on with Chicago, and Hronek obviously as well but I foget if he was a Holland pick or a Steve pick.

That might be the end of his career. He barely cared before getting hurt, and now he’s economically set for life. Mantha doesn’t strike me as someone who will chase a cup win
The best part of watching a collection of Mantha's greatest hits with the Wings is A) it's really short; and B) he breaks his hand in almost all of them.

Idk, if rumors of a tear down in Pittsburgh are real, I'd throw a protected 1st or 2nd+Holl/Petry/something at them for Pettersson. Dudes rock solid, and would be an upgrade on the 2nd pair over Chiarot.

When we start looking at the crap pile for improvements, you know the season isn't going well. The head scratcher Fabbro release has peaked some interest. That said, if the Wings really wanted scoring, they could hae brought back Sprong.
