I think if will be tough to beat out the Canucks for Rossi. They need a 2C and the the trade/UFA market is shit for centers
The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired Tarasenko for future considerations.
Surrrrrre
Would def take Tarasenko's deal (1x4.75) with a 2nd or prospect. Play him with Geno make geno happy and then retain 50% and flip tarasenko for a 3rd at the deadline
well they can keep him then because he does not have positive value I can assure them that unless they're retaining 50% then maybeI am definitely not taking him for free.
I want a pick attached.
Detroit fans don't think they need to add a pick. I strongly disagree with that unless they are taking a cap dump back.
Good. They can have him tbh.I think if will be tough to beat out the Canucks for Rossi. They need a 2C and the the trade/UFA market is shit for centers
I would probably do it if retained at 50% but we'd have to get rid of a couple of forwardswell they can keep him then because he does not have positive value I can assure them that unless they're retaining 50% then maybe
What do you like from Anaheim for Raks? Friedman mentions they have tons of space and really want to make playoffs next yearAlso why are we acting like Karlsson will refuse to work with the Penguins to find a trade destination? The Penguins suck and he wants to win a championship. He’s obviously not going to green light literally any team out of the goodness of his heart, but I don’t see any way that he’s going to handicap the Penguins to have to keep him.
He was willing to allow a trade to Carolina when he was traded to the Penguins. Just do Gostisbehere and one of their 2026 1sts and I’m totally fine with that return for him.

Pick 10 and pray we do better than Boston in 2015?What do you like from Anaheim for Raks? Friedman mentions they have tons of space and really want to make playoffs next year
People who care about Pens championships in the future. But really who cares if it comes with a pick or whatever.
I don't know how happy an already blowed-out Geno would be playing with a definitely blowed-out Tank.
That was a like... five years ago move to help him out. But really who cares if it comes with a pick or whatever.
Oh, and I already bought my Gavin McKenna Penguins jersey. Just needed to swap out the Svejkovsky nameplate.
The Red Wings!? They need every damn million they can get.I don't see Red Wings being that desperate to get rid of him that they'll pay us, they have the cap space to do what they want anyway.
Tarasenko is definitely cooked but you bring him in as a warm body replacement for Rakell when you move Rakell. Rakell to Detroit for Tarasenko, Willander and pick #14 feels doable and would be a nice rebuilding move.
I can't see EK going to Detroit.I wonder if EK would go to Detroit, they have Edvinsson and Johannson as RFAs, but Seider is the only D they have signed after next year currently.

I bet you can 20-20 out of Tarasenko next to Sid and flip him at the deadline for a decent pick.
It would tank our only productive line but I don’t know if that’s really a bad thing at this point.

Moving on to useless, related info- til McKenna is Bedard's distant cousin.I'm waiting a few months first so I have some time to wear this Gavin McKenna Penn State Hockey jersey I just ordered.
Anaheim is odd to predict. All of their alluring young assets are likely guys they would want to keep and they do have any good roster players to fill a gap. Certainly they'd want to keep guys like Vatrano.'26 1st.
