Salary Cap: 24 25 Salary Thread Crosbicles Volume Mmxxvii Retool over Time to Go for A Cup in 2026

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Preds aren’t reachable IMO, but huge wins from Seattle and Philly last night (and obviously Buffalo). Hopefully Philly goes on a run here with the coaching change.

If you filter by points percentage, 4th to 8th last is neck and neck.

IMO 2-6 down the stretch gets us to 4th last.

"We're not going to call them up until they're here to stay"

"Let's call them up with 8 meaningless games left as WBS is trying to win their division"

I know it's because WBS just clinched a playoff spot so they're rewarding McGroarty and Koivunen with 8 NHL games and NHL paychecks, but still.

For the record, the Penguins last game is on April 17th and WBS's last game is on April 19th. So McGroarty and Koivunen will get 3 weeks in the NHL and then be back for WBS's last 2 games.

Gonna be awesome to see them get 8 NHL games where they average 6 minutes a night on line 4 because they “aren’t ready” yet.
No chance, our coach said he wasn't afraid to play younger players last week!!!

Seriously tough, I'm very happy for both, well deserved to end the season here before going back down for the playoffs in WBS.

Can't have them learning bad habits from a PP2 scrub like Malkin. They need the real leadership you can only get from PP1 Kevin Hayes.
You know it’s going to be Hayes lol…because Geno is just too off-script…we can’t have our newbies developing bad habits like not grinding enough in favor of playing offense and actually scoring goals…Not Playing The Right Way

The team also has a bunch of injuries. They only had 11 forwards. Dewar may be banged up a bit after that hit as well. Makes sense to have to call some guys up.

I may actually watch the next game with intent!

Rakell-Sid-Rust
McGroarty-Malkin-Koivunen
Dewar-Hayes-Tomasino
Heinen-Lizotte-Acciari

I don't see any other option that "makes sense". If you're calling those two up, call them up and give them the time. Not like anyone in that bottom 6 has the case to bitch to Sullivan about playtime and assignments.
