Could argue watered down league - could argue just a transitory timeline for the league.

We're right on the money for expected wins with the roster 'changes' we did (did not) make. Can't say much for the other teams (especially the Rangers).

Very true, we just have to hope until the end of the season they lose all confidence and have no fight left. It took these imbeciles far too long to realize they're pathetic. Let's hope these other teams humiliate them further so they don't forget! Maybe we can get 7th OA if that happens. Should have been a bottom three team but noooooo, had to keep that useless piece of shit Rakell for Crosby which helps no one!!!!
 
Out of the 8 left, we have two easy game.

And somehow by the schedule making gods we have the Blackhawks in back to back games.

But beyond that, Senators (playoffs), Blues (fighting for playoffs, currently in), Stars (playoffs), Devils (playoffs), Bruins (we can’t win that game and have them fall below us), Capitals (playoffs).

There aren’t many wins there and a bunch of teams we struggle to beat even when good.

For whatever reason this team hasn't done well against the Hawks in the Sid era. I think the Hawks are the team that Sid has the lowest points per game against. I remember the Hawks scored 10 goals against the Pens like 2-3 years ago and we all thought that would be Sullivan's final game

They can beat anyone, they can lose to anyone. This is the most unlikable group the last 30 years! Hopefully their will to fight is gone! Winning does absolutely nothing but f*** us up further.

True, though this was largely the Jonathan Toews effect.

Pens can be in top 5 but man win the lottery and take Misa or get high end draft capital to add a center and RW. Dubas has to accept the fact Sully is not the coach from here and grab the AV's coach or the WB guy to work with the younger guys. Pens may need to blow it up no matter how much Dubas wants to try to stay relevant. Pedal to the metal here on a rebuild. These are enough parts here to be much better in a couple. On the block Karlsson, Rust, maybe Rakell with the right deal. Draft a top 6 center. Maybe with the trades and potential rangers pick, Dubas can walk away with top 6 center, R winger, very good center prospect in tow.
