I wonder if the Kings really do prioritize their present group and commitment to defensive play above all else over the future to the point where they'd deal Clarke.

Rakell to the Kings makes a lot of sense. They need goal scoring, he's the best goal scorer with term they could add. If Clarke's pie in the sky, a 1st and Greentree would be a nice package.

Well this one should be interesting to see how the other East teams answer to what the Panthers and Bolts have done up to know. And I don't think the Panthers are done just yet with MK on LTIR and more cap flexibility to play with

If a team in Seattle's position is trading a prime aged top-6 RW with term at this deadline, I really do not see a justification for the Penguins not to be doing the same.

Seattle is significantly closer to contending than the Penguins are with the young talent they have, yet they're still selling Bjorkstrand despite having him under contract for next year.

Lol how many times can Puljujarvi end up on waivers

But Seattle doesn't have the totally pointless "who will Crosby play with" factor. :sarcasm:

I hope Dubas is smart. Have huge, huge doubts he is.

its gonna take some stamina to post like this for 3 days, stay hydrated

Reminds me of the people that told me to "wait until the summer was over in 2023" and that Graves was a good signing.

If only I would've trusted the braintrust of HFPens...

The more teams that are adding big pieces, the less options we have.

Although just heard from a source that LA wants Rakell.

Vrana on waivers. I'd put a claim in.

Those are strong numbers with that ice time. Dude can still play.

This is a 2-way street though, the more pieces get traded, the fewer available pieces there are.

Tampa is no longer in on Rakell (if they were in before), but teams also can't trade for Bjorkstrand now. There really aren't many legitimate top-6 options available, and Bjorkstrand being off the board takes another one waway.

That would be great but I think like Trouba, some dumb team will pay value for Kreider
Tend to agree. Someone will be like “good vet for cheap” with cap going up.

I think he’s cooked and don’t care about the player but given reports they’re heading for a split… was spitballing that maybe that idiot Drury would pay to dump him given he has NTC. Sully would def sign on for it too.
