we are scratching Tomasino now?
At least Shea is a start.

He's not in the top 6. Younger guys are taking over.Saad had 26 goals just last year. I have no idea what's going on with him this year but my guess is "He old".
you seem to be really underestimating Sullys ability to screw miller up tooEven if they did it I don't like the thought of doing it mid season and then having Miller come in here and play well and spark the team into picking like 14th or something.
I hate to say it because it sucks to suck but they could really use a top 5 pick and seem to be tracking towards one. Best not to do anything that might jeopardize that.
Pettersson, Lizotte/O'Connor +I think the main issue is Vancouver is going to want players that can help them now for Miller. If they would take a futures heavy package I'm sure the deal would be done already.
Throw Nieto, Accari and Blueger in a blender and the new JT Miller would appear.Sullivan would have JT Miller playing like Blueger within two weeks.
I like Miller as a player but IMO the allegations that he is a toxic locker room presence have serious merit.
Maybe he could make Sullivan so mad that he'd voluntarily quit?Maybe it’ll cancel out the other toxic presences in our locker room? Like with Mr. burns?

I'd put the odds of there being a fist fight between Miller and Sullivan at 30:1.Sullivan would have JT Miller playing like Blueger within two weeks.
Real question is who would draw first blood.I'd put the odds of there being a fist fight between Miller and Sullivan at 30:1.
Like it probably wouldn't happen, but it's on the table.
They have to be trying to lose at this point. At least Shea is a start.
I see no reason to start trading players with years left on their contract unless there's an offer too good to pass up.
We have no issue finding a way to lose this season even with them, and guys in their early-mid 30s will have more value when there's less commitment attached.

Agreed, and you move closer to getting that top 5 pick this year. We need to take advantage of it, get's weaker after that in my opinion in terms of a potential game breaker type player down the roadThe Penguins should probably tank as hard as they can this year. If that results in us moving out players like EK65 to take advantage of the Heiskanen injury you do it.

I don't even know that they need to "tank", but what's the point of holding onto these guys? What good is having Karlsson if your team is ass? The team is fully in a state where it should be rebuilding, holding onto any sort of luxury that you can get value for doesn't make sense.
That's actually why I'm supportive of just loading up L1 with Malkin-Crosby-Rust and running with that until Malkin retires. It gives Crosby and Malkin the best chance to produce as much as possible and you can just obliterate the rest of the roster outside of that.
I’m not sure the team thinks it is rebuilding. I would not be shocked to see Dubas make “win now” moves next year and try to make the dance.
I think this team is too bad at this point for me to think Dubas would do that.
