Was really interested in Tulsky before FSG dropped everything and threw a Brinks truck at Dubas. Doubt he would've left Carolina but dude seems really smart and capable.
Must have been allowed to talk to Rantanen's agent or Rantanen himself and there's an extension handshake agreement in place or something. Doubt the Canes go after a big fish twice without assurance he re-signs. Though they didn't pay much for Jake. Necas+ for Rantanen is a hefty price though.

I really dont get what Rutherford and co and are doing in Vancouver. They let the Pettersson/Miller stuff reach the boiling point and now one of their main trade partners in Carolina is out. Their options now are to take a trash package from the Rags or keep the toxic room intact.

Still blown away JR didn't pony up for Jake last season. That was the Canucks year to strike imo. Even if you thought Jake was gonna walk, you take that chance 11 times outta 10. Jake very likely gets that team to the SCF.
