Yeah, but I also wouldn’t call Nashville well-coached either. My larger point isn’t even that Granlund is good, it’s just that these kinds of players are really dependent on the team and situation to produce. So you need to use those kinds of players properly for them to have any benefit at all.

Aside from the fact he’s going to hit 1000 games and has largely being a scorer in every market he’s played in but PIT.

I 100% agree Sullivan shares some of the blame here, but Hextall was mainly at fault. They needed a 3C capable of playing with heavy defensive usage and he went out and got Granlund
Sullivan's stubbornness prevented him from at least trying to find a better spot for Granlund, which has been a common theme of his, but it was a terrible trade from a team needs and/or player evaluation point of view.
