He also has one of the better cap hits in the nhl. I wouldn’t move him unless they go full tear down and rebuild.

I think Geekie Lindholm Pasta has better potential than Zacha being there. Lindholm got his 40 odd points without Pasta. Since mid January, Lindholm has been outscoring Zacha despite not having Pasta next to him. 55 point pace since 4 nations. I think Lindholm is starting to trend into what we hoped he would be, to be honest.

Then you have this mess of Zacha, Mittelstadt, Poitras, Lysell, maybe the new pick, for the other line. If Zacha helps you on your way to finding a centerpiece for that line, go for it.

CAP SPACE: 27.15M

Geekie - 5.5M
Lauko, Beecher, Khusnutdinov, Koepke 5M
M Granlund 4.5M

Lohrei 3.5M

Pionk 7M

Geekie - E. Lindholm - Pasta
Mittelstadt - Zacha - Granlund
Khusnutdinov - Minten - Poitras
Lauko - Beecher - Kastelic

Koepke
Lysell

H Lindholm - MacAvoy
Zadorov - Pionk
Lohrei - Peeke

Wotherspoon

A couple of games of Lindholm, does not make a season, if he produced like he was paid to do this team might not be as bad as it has gone this season, Zacha, makes considerably less than Lindholm.

A few people have been saying that this the last week or so.

The prior two to three weeks before this unforeseen bump, Lindholm looked like the laziest player I've seen since Bob Sweeney. Genuinely infuriating.

I don't think chopping this season into any segments tells us much of anything, good or ill.

You have it right great contract, and to be honest, I am not in favor of moving him, unless it is a blow away deal. I have always liked his game and always thought highly of him, but I must admit, I am a little frustrated with him because I watch this guy's skill level and just believe there is more there. his biggest problem in opinion is his shot accuracy.
He should be a 30-35 goal scorer based on the opportunities he seems to regularly get. It frustrates me too, though I like the player and don't want to trade him unless it's a deal of the "offer you can't refuse" variety.

Zacha frustrates me, Lindholm is what I expected from him.

Geeks - Lindholm- Pasta
Zacha - Misa - Marner
Hall - Mittelstadt - Poitras

Wouldn't mind cracking a cold one and watching that lineup. I agree with you on Elias. With Lindholm, he def should have had more looks on the first line. I don’t care, you ask for 7.75 in the summer, you’re going to f’in get over it, play through the issues, and get on that horse and put the puck on Pastas stick.

Bettman is obviously going to rig us into that #2 slot right boys? ;)

I do not think Lindholm is a first line center, but I get why everyone puts them there. I would like Marner signed, nothing else out there. Mintten has surpassed Poitras, and I doubt he is even on this roster next year.

Is it Poitras you are saying you doubt if he even on the roster next year ?? If Poitras gets to season end without injury . I expect him to arrive at camp next season bigger and stronger and ready to compete at an NHL level.

He takes to many big hits, and have seen nothing that shows me he has the ability that he deserves the raves he is getting. He is a nice player when he has room, he has nice hands, and see the ice pretty well, but I see nothing else that shows me he is nhl player. I will say I hope he does bulk up like you say, and especially for safety's sake.

fixed it for you. ;)

Geekie- Lindholm-Pasta
Zacha- Mittlestadt - Marner
Misa - Minten- Poitras

Gradually brake Misa in as a winger and eventually have him move to center and then take over for Mittlestadt as the 2nd line center.

Marchy not coming back. Bruins cant afford him and Marner, unless he drops his demands significantly.

There is no way the Bruins will be getting Misa.

I see what you see. This guy seems like a young blossoming skill player to me. I don’t know why so many good knowledgeable fans are so low on him. Yes he has to get stronger and smarter. That’s normal for a player his age. If anything he’s shown excellent maturity so why doubt his future growth.

We shall see.

My preliminary favorite for 4th line is Lauko-Minten-Kastelic. Beecher is just not good and I would just deal him or send him down. Not even sure if he would get claimed, he is the definition of JAG right now.
I do not want Minten on the 4th line, I want to see this kid a legit shot, I am more impressed than any young player they have, and do not take that as I think he should be Pasta's center. I do like what I see so far, he has some good awareness out on the ice. I thought he played well in his first game, not so much in his second game, but last night he looked solid.
