Pretty crazy to think that if the Bruins had just gone .500 in this recent 8 game skid, they'd be tied in points with the Rangers and Montreal and fighting for that last playoff spot.

There is zero chance that works. Next year a generational talent is available. No way they give up next seasons first and next seasons worst for this seasons first. Doesnt really make sense. 2 firsts for 1 first? I don’t think any gm would do this.

Probably not, there very rarely are UDFA that are ready to play. Question is do you like someone enough that you them the benefit to try and get them to sign, knowing that it isn't the best for the player (or the org) long term.

I wouldn't think so, but unless their planning on a late call up from providence, I'm stumped on why they would put those guys on waivers, with their only add being Viel on an emergency basis.
