I don't mind the player, but that's a steep price tag.
He is having a damn solid season, though.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerChara suffered a knee injury in '14-15 and #88 only scored 10 and 15 goals in those two years they DNQ as an 18\19 year old and in his 3rd season, he broke out to 34G 70P which explains them stopping the DNQ skid. So its not really amazing they DNQ two years in a row. Also amazing that they missed the playoffs two years in a row with those guys and haven't missed them since this group took over.
1982 Bruins got Brad Palmer from Minnesota, so they wouldn't Draft Bellows if I recall.Am I hallucinating or was there a team that traded something to the team before them one year at the draft so they didn’t draft a certain player, and he fell one slot lower?
If I remember correctly they spit the bit both years, pissing away a playoff spot in the last few games.Chara suffered a knee injury in '14-15 and #88 only scored 14 and 15 goals in those two years they DNQ as an 18\19 year old and in his 3rd season, he broke out to 34G 70P which explains them stopping the DNQ skid. For sure: in 15 they needed to win in the last game against Ottawa to get in and they choked. If I remember correctly they spit the bit both years, pissing away a playoff spot in the last few games.
Sounds delicious.I do wonder what a realistic number is though. I know top 5 is probably not happening. Senses tell me 8-9. But the way these guys are playing makes me wonder if it'll be maybe a smidge higher. Food for thought I suppose.
Just wait a year and drive that McDavid guy up to the vault and tell him to take whatever he wants.I’d offer Marner $15 mil and see if he bites.
Hopefully draft a stud in the top 10 and hope to god some of these young players/prospects take a massive leap.
They weren't good enough to beat out Pittsburgh & Detroit in those years because of what I mentioned earlier. Detroit still had Datsyuk and Zetterberg while Pitt still hadIf I remember correctly they spit the bit both years, pissing away a playoff spot in the last few games.
Where is Sweeney’s two cups in three years including a championship? Now they suck. I remember the mantra here “23-24 is the retooling year then look out”. Lol. Look out for what? The wheels falling off?Threshold that they couldn't get over twice in a row
I mean it’s 1.25 more than Elias Lindholm. Glass houses and all thatI don't mind the player, but that's a steep price tag.

Well apparently we knew they were chokers all the way back then yet the GM held on to themThey weren't good enough to beat out Pittsburgh & Detroit in those years because of what I mentioned earlier. Detroit still had Datsyuk and Zetterberg while Pitt still had
a prime Crosby & Malkin. Not only the Chara injury did them in, so didn't losing Boychuk before the season started in the trade.
Just weren't good enough due to Chara injury and #88 being too young.
That's some serious hindsight biasThey weren't good enough to beat out Pittsburgh & Detroit in those years because of what I mentioned earlier. Detroit still had Datsyuk and Zetterberg while Pitt still had

I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say hereWhere is Sweeney’s two cups in three years including a championship? Now they suck. I remember the mantra here “23-24 is the retooling year then look out”. Lol. Look out for what? The wheels falling off?
First is was the holdout. Then the coach. Then the players were ALL in terrible shape, then the captain stunk, then the new coach sucked, then the leadership was jettisoned (a move I applauded whole heartedly), now the remaining guys have totally quit. Will the fault ever work its way up the chain of command?

Same guy that told Hanafin Eichel and Necas are all Boston Bound GMAFBThey blew up the team with the intention of getting multiple young players and picks - the objective a 5 week tank and hopefully get a top 10 pick
Blowing up kind of means they are going to suck
McAvoy & Lindholm could return but won’t till next season
They added 10 picks/prospects
My boy on the inside already told me Marchsnd and Sweeney already got a deal in place
Booooowhhhhoooo Bruins fans suffering for 35 days
as far as retools go this will end up the gold standard looking back in 1 year
Thank you Donny
Of course they will suck now. I agree with the “blow up”. Why should they be the ones rebuilding? What are we thanking Donny for? I thank him for getting rid of Marchand coyle and Carlo for sure. Am I thanking him for getting past round 2 once in a decade? That’s where I’m lost. Now we start another decade with this management team? When is their comeuppance? They blew up the team with the intention of getting multiple young players and picks - the objective a 5 week tank and hopefully get a top 10 pick

Hindsight bias? Nonsense, just what was the reality of those seasons. .That's some serious hindsight bias
Whoa !!!!Same guy that told Hanafin Eichel and Necas are all Boston Bound GMAFB
This brass has kicked the can down the road for a decade now. Not winning a cup in that time has been the fault of Julien, Cassidy, Montgomery, Montgomerys kid, Sacco, a multitude of players, out of shape players, injured players, bad contracts, bad leadership…..why does this group get to build the next version of the Bruins?I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say here

He’s safe as a kangaroo babyWe not counting the days before the trade deadline?
(For the record, I'm not suffering. Like I said Sweeney did the right thing at the deadline and I hope they lose every game the rest of the way and win the lottery so our next GM can hit the ground running.)
No, that was 2016 they lost to Ottawa in their last game when Rask couldn't play. For sure: in 15 they needed to win in the last game against Ottawa to get in and they choked.
