The Herald's Steve Conroy is also a frequent guest on a harry arms Haggerty's worthy podcast "Pucks With Haggs."

Speaking of worthy podcasts, treat yourself to both "Bruins Beat" & "Poke the Bear," hosted by New England Hockey Journal editor Evan Maranofsky and Conor Ryan. Occasional guests, like Ty Anderson, who is, IMHO, a perceptive analyst of Bruins players, in game action, coaching, management, and ownership.

"What is the long term vision of the Boston Bruins?"

Pick up @ either 15:00 or 18:00 (I forget) for Anderson's answer to this big picture question, though a full listen is merited,

More good stuff,

Try to ignore Haggerty's pudgy piggie legs in the background picture montage (sic),

Ty Anderson is very good.

Today alone, I have received three texts from Canucks fans:

'Would Boston do Coyle and Carlo for Miller?'
'Zacha/Coyle and Carlo for Miller?'
'If Miller waives for Boston, Carlo + what?'
In a heart beat if they take half of Millers cap hit

Miller is a beast but not so sure he’ll be a beast in 3 yrs

After such high expectations coming out of the offseason, I want absolutely no part of the continued mediocracy.

Please sell, gain assets and play more of the ****ing kids.

Washington was in a very similar spot this time last year. They sold, made a few changes and now look at them.

Not for me. Keep the 1st, swap the cap hits and bring Miller in and Coyle out.

LOTS of talk right now in the city that the Miller move is really heating up this weekend. Going to be an interesting hot stove for CBC/Sportsnet's Hockey Day in Canada...

This time last year, if Boston could have had Miller or Dubois, who do you think this entire board would have screamed for?
Buy low now.

Would rather the Bruins trade both for picks and prospects at this point. This team isn't in a position to go for it to add a player like Miller especially with any extra baggage he may bring. The Bruins need to embrace a youth movement.

I can't agree after watching the 'youth movement' in Vancouver. It lasted almost a decade Absurd, a decade. And they at least had Pettersson and Hughes for the last 5.

Boston has a BARE empty cupboard. Your suggesting also requires the trading for McAvoy, Swayman and Pastrnak because by the time the players are ready, those guys are well into their 30's.

Teams don't get out of that youth movement easily (Ottawa, Anaheim, Vancouver, Calgary, San Jose, Chicago, Buffalo, Detroit) and you have to be fully ready for a half-decade of playoff DNQ.

Icing on the cake for that move, the Bruins don't appear to have one single top six prospect or top four D in the system at all. None invited to the WJC's as the only NHL team with no prospects attending.

What youth movement? They have core guys in their prime now. How much would you bet one of the kids becomes a core guy?

Peeke stinks, he would stink more on the 2nd pairing. Carlo decent cap hit, he’ll be much better once Hampus returns.

I don’t want JT Miller until 2031. At 8m? No chance. I wouldn’t even move Coyle for him one for one. Coyle’s deal ends next season. Being saddled with Miller would crush this team. Canucks eat 50% of his cap then we can discuss. Otherwise let them eat that disaster of a cap hit. There’s a reason they’re looking to move him.

Well close to the same amount of money as Lindholm, and he certainly does not fit the beast mode,
