I just threw McTavish out there because he’s skilled young and a position in need and whether it’s a McTavish or another talented young center, they won’t come cheap.

Sweeney hasn’t been able to acquire one in a decade and imo that should be his number one target re-tool or no re-tool.
#1 Pick with NHL experience, I like it.

Reactions: TCB and Gordoff
I'd take Miller but I'd ask Zad and EL their opinion after their time with him last year. Miller is a play angry skilled man ...and I emphasize man....prefer him for the here and now over the young unproven guns full of promise. Bruins material.

I guess Lettieri has somehow “earned” PP time. The dude is a AAAA JAG. I keep hearing how Lysell has to earn his call up and his PP time. He’s up for one game, helps generate a goal on his first shift and gets immediately turfed. Lettieri though, oh watch out!
The guy was sitting in Providence all year, they go out and get a 24 year old scores his first goal, gets benched for the guy who has been sitting in Providence, did somehow improved his game that much that bring him now,

Devils looking for a 3rd line center. Bruins have plenty.

For numbers sake, Coyle and Korpisalo would wash out Miller coming back

Canucks have absolutely zero use for another goalie because they are likely looking at resigning Lankinen but if Korpi goes out in a separate deal it would free up 3 million more to sign him and they still have a center to plug in and play

Canucks are in a tough spot because it just seems like it's bound to happen except Miller kind of holds the cards in his hands with the NMC. You know he likes the Rangers already so hopefully he is fond of the east coast but the contract isn't pretty and his character has been in question

This could easily be a Taylor Hall situation again where he goes for much less than what everyone is thinking. Theres just too much going against him and the only logical spots appear to be us, Rags, Devils, Stars? I don't really see a bidding war

Kypreos and Doug MacLean said on their show today that Thatcher Demko is unhappy in Vancouver. That place is turning into a circus.
So a thought exercise of Swayman to Vancouver?
They might move Boeser too if they can't re-sign him before the trade deadline. I wonder how much those two are affected by the Miller/Pettersson drama, and if things will get better there once one of them are moved.

I just can’t process all these people wanting JT Miller. With where this team is. Just says a lot IMO.
$8M for a guy with fire in his belly and a 103 point season last year? That JT Miller?...he won't help at all this year. 😕 some of us want to be entertained this year and for the next couple of years...buy a lottery ticket into the wild card spot and hope we catch lightening in a bottle ....what's so hard to understand? Pretty sure management understands it ... sure it's a hope and a prayer but the alternative is not the current Boston way IMO. I'm not sold on the approach but I at least understand it.

He’s an asshole. He’s never won anything. And he’s blown up the Vancouver locker room twice.

All set.

He very well maybe an asshole, I agree he might be a locker room issue hence a previous post saying I'm good with Miller if they do their due diligence with EL and Zad who shared the locker room with him last year. Maybe he's just uber intense and can't handle the passive nature of Pattersson. Maybe he's bipolar and lashes out at people unexpectedly. I have no idea but if he passes the reference and interview test then why not? He's one heck of a hockey player.
