.... its safe to assume we will not see Dean Letourneau in a Bruins jersey until after the 2030 season, minimum.

I been told he’s a bust

According to a bunch of " experts " on this site Letourneau is already a bust. Surprisingly - this POV is mostly coming from non-Bruin fans.

Not with good coaching and a fresh voice. Sacco has been around the team since Orr retired

He is the interim guy, have to believe they change that position
I think Sacco has done ok keeping them at least in the hunt for a wildcard, so credit there, but I would not bet on him returning no.My stance is the team needs another good top 6 player that can help score goals & that might not be enough with back end leaking oil too.

They do have enough firepower not to have the almost worst powerplay in the league, though. Whatever else they need to fix, personnel is not the main issue with the PP. With the current crew, I think a middle of the pack PP is reasonable and should be expected.

I’m a Friedman guy. However, his podcast should be 6 original thoughts because that’s what he usually has. And they are almost always Canadian team drama. The other 26 are a lot of ‘I think….’ and kind of stuttering

The Bruins fire Sacco they are a legit freaking clown show

Blow it up and get Jeff Gorton out of his contract to run entire organization

Your boy at work

he loves his guys with max potential of being 3rd and 4th liners.
This is the saddest. Don godfather is upset once again .

I don't blame Donny for that, but there is a big difference in adding to a core and building a core.Far as Marchand goes I agree with you.
That bungle by monty against Florida with historic team has set this team where we are today. What a hindenburg disaster that was.

26:00 mark: Friedman references the head coach position.

Thank you.

So for those who don't want to / can't listen, Friedman basically said that the Bruins may have a long-term coach in mind (David Carle) and they are considering, if it's not Sacco, do we try to go for Carle now, to make sure he doesn't get away.

Also said he thinks the Bruins are in shock over their season. They knew they weren't as strong as in recent years but they thought they plugged the holes (created by DeBrusk and Grzelcyk) with Lindholm and Zadorov and thought they'd be better than what they are. So now they're regrouping and taking a bigger picture look, and wondering what that means. Which comes back to the coaching again, as in, if Sacco's not the long-term solution, then do we make a move now for that guy.

I know you love Donny, but if the Bruins do decide to clear out Cam and Donny, I say Cam because I think its a package deal with the two. Who replaces them ? Lots of GM candidates, but serious question who becomes president and don't say Chara.

Bergy (President) and Langenbrunner (GM) ?

Dear Patrice,
Run and hide. Run and hide.

You are an icon around here. Bruins fans love you for the way you played, the way you carry yourself off the ice, the heroic way you fought through debilitating injuries, and for the decency that oozes off you.

Just like the guy they want you to replace. For those who didn't grow up watching Cam Neely in Black and Gold you missed a treat. He was loved for the way he played the game, for the way he carried himself off the ice, the way he fought through debilitating injuries, and for the decency that oozed off him.

Those things are great and something we all should strive for. BUT, they do not spare you from the vitriol that comes with being President of the Boston Bruins. Nothing does.

Trust me, Patrice. I know what I am talking about here. Politely decline the offer, no matter what.

Sincerely,

Number 8

Sweeney had 10 years I think he’s done a very good job and should have had minimum one Cup between 2019,23, and 20 if covid never wipes out 4 months

No idea who - I like Gorton a lot local and super guy but he’s treated well in Montreal

Bergy has 4 kids he said sometimes he’s got so much going on he doesn’t watch games

They plan on moving back to Quebec

They could offer Bergeron a trillion dollars I don’t see him in management here

I think he would have to be at games which would mess with his parental responsibilities

why would Langenbrunner be good - doesn’t he travel a lot back and forth to his family ?

The next GM probably an outsider

I like Yzerman - he drafts and builds Bruins teams

People in Boston respect and like him I would go there if fired and Gorton can’t and won’t leave Montreal
