Boston Bruins 24-25 Roster/Cap thread XI

What would you add to Coyle and Carlo (9.35) for JT Miller and Vincent Desharnis (10)

Desharnis is probably close to a cap dump at this point but they need someone to replace Carlo's minutes one way or another and they are supposedly shopping him as well

I mean for this to be realistic the answer is Poitras right? I'd rather skip the Desharnis part of it. Once Lindholm is back I would just throw Oesterle/Wotherspoon on his right and look at upgrading that spot in the offseason.

Not a chance! Why the hell do the Bruins always have to add to trade?
People seem to under value the players on this team and over value the other teams players.

I don’t see the Bruins doing anything significant, mainly because, they’re not deep enough at any position. They just don’t have a position of strength to deal from.

Sweeney swung big and missed again in Free Agency, this time with Lindholm. He keeps putting himself behind the eight ball and I think it’s finally has caught up to him.

Lysell and a pick

I mean we are talking about an 80-100 point center here. And a Charlie Coyle on pace for 30 points.
That is my point! Coyle's value is based on this season, and Miller's value on last season is what your saying.
So realize Miller isn't going to get 80 to 100 points this season, it maybe be closer to what Coyle had last season 60 points, if even that. Miller has missed 11 games so far.

You are right he missed those 11 games for taking leave. He is around PPG, tho. And we are talking about 5 straight years of being a PPG+ guy. And Coyle being a guy with more than 45 points twice in his 11 year career. I dunno why you think cherry picking Coyle’s outlier year is making your point.

I'm more worried, or curious is probably a better word, to see what, if anything will be the spark that ignites that run. Lindholm coming back? Poitras called up? Swayman getting his game back? A trade?
Outstanding goaltending is the prime recipe for success.

If I’m Sweeney I give my buddy Verbeek a call. MacTavish and Trouba Anaheim retains half. for Carlo, Frederic , this years first and Lysell

Does the cap work on this one? Also are we including Trouba as a cap dump for them?

Definitely interested in McTavish. He’s a perfect fit.

McTavish, EP, Zegras, Cozens—they all fill that desperate need we have.
