It would be miraculous to get both.
I think it'll take a big overpay to just get Cozens
but he's worth it IMO.

Doubt we have the assets unless you wanna give up lohrei and that's a big no for me. Just trade Frederic for Krebs and move on. Both suck this year and need a change.

Why would the Sabres want Frederic?
They aren't shoring up for a playoff run, TF is
not signed for next year and isn't lighting it
up like at all here.
Krebs can be in the trade but Cozens is the
main guy. I wouldn't trade Lohrei for him but
it would need to be at least the Bruins 1st and maybe
Hampus Lindholm + the 1st and a prospect (if they'd even be
interested in anyone the Bruins have.

Not sure Lohrei is a top need for the Sabres they already have a few good to very good young puck moving defenseman. Owen Power is having a down year, so if we could get him in a package, then ya lohrei would be a player i'm sure they want in return, with that said I don't see Buffalo moving Power. Cozens would be nice, but the Sabres are starting to play better and there's 30 other teams out there and 24 of them they don't have to play 4 times a year and they are a lot less likely to ever meet them in the playoffs down the road. Yes, That's a big if I know.

2. Sweeney can’t trade, draft, or sign FA and if you point out his record best over 10 years we get he inherited team

3. We aren’t good enough to win - blow it up

4. For every player likes (zaderov for example) there are five critical of his game, brain, contract

5. Carlo & Frederic are hated - appearance brought up and both soft

6. A couple of posters show up everyday with the same issue - it’s either the primary or secondary of every post

7. Neely is somehow stupid even though he wants a tough team, openly questioned Monty going rouge & Sway demands (all correct)

I missing anything ?

Lohrei, Coyle and Lysell for Kreider and Lindgren. I substitute Poitras for Lysell if that’s what it takes. We become instant favorites, in fact, we win it all. Disclaimer: I once again have no idea how this fits with the cap. It’s not my job. I’d also like a Trochek to be names later in this trade.

I’m not blowing this up. Lindholm was a dumb signing, but every other move (Kastelic, Zad) have been great. This is why I think we’re only a Kreider away from winning the damn thing. Everything clicks if you bring in Kreider. Book it!

No we don’t want to blow this up. I think Sweeney finally made some great moves. Kreider is the missing piece. He changes the entire offense. He should have been here a month ago. He’s a freight train and he scores the greasy goals because he’s in front of the net at all times. He’s very durable (he’s not Backes). Keep in mind, doubters, his neck is bigger than his head!

From someone who the last 5 seasons I checked here preseason point total came in under

March 2011 we had that epic beatdown of Montreal and everyone was super positive. The 0-2 start brought out concerns naturally.

Chiarelli didn't hang onto underperforming vets like Sweeney does. 2010 both Kobasew and Morris sent picking for draft picks. He added in 2009 and 2011 and in 2010 and 2012 planned for the future leaving the cupboard full for Sweeney to F up.

Not his fault, but his contract has hamstrung this team cap wise, I guess you are right, I should bring up Sweeneys name more for that contract.
