Those are the guys that need to go and you might as well flip Freddy he's not earning his spot in the lineup at the moment and likely won't be resigned.

Zad for Carlo/Gryz whichever you want is an upgrade. He's a nice luxury player.

Lindholm is a poor man's Bergeron. Get rid of Coyle get Poitras in the lineup and you're better.

Sweeney is a bad GM tho. Chiarelli was never afraid to move redundant players for futures in 2010 he was in sell mode. Sweeney had never traded unproductive vets for draft picks it's like he's friends with them and doesn't want to hurt their feelings.

Frederic for Zach L’Heureux from Nashville. He's a greasy bottom 6'er right now but the kid has the skills to be a top 6 player soon. A future line of

ZLH -- Poitras -- Lysell

is pretty interesting on paper.

That makes zero sense, Lindholm at 8 mil sucks sorry, this team was better off with Coyle and Zacka, rather than Lindholm, ideal no but you could have Lindholm money, to get a goal scorer and it would not have cost you as much, then go look for a center when one that is worth the price is available. You did not need to move Carlo for Zad,, you moved Gryz and Forbort out so there is you Zadorov, increase. He should have signed Swayman, last year for less money last year but he waited and misread Swayman and his agent, my nice polite way of saying he f***ed up. No way in hell should Swayman got that contract, sorry Swayman worshipers, but I said it that signing he left you nothing in the cupboard not his fault, he has a right to take as much as management was stupidly giving him. Now he can live with what is in front of him.

Zegras is a possibility but there's obviously a risk with it.

I've been trying to think of other options for a top 6 LW/C and I swear all roads lead back to him.

Like what you said the other options are older like Kreider, JT Miller, Brock Nelson or even Taylor Hall but none of them seem like the direction the Bruins should be going in.

I just feel like Zegras comes in at a more reasonable contract and cost and he has a year and a half to prove himself. If it doesn't work out, oh well.

I can live with taking a shot on him versus an aging vet. There's obviously the chance his playmaking with Pasta forms a high end 1st line and a PP quarterback

I like Dylan Cozens. He's rumored available. He's scored 30 goals before. He's big, he's fast. Sabres have a history of trading away good young talent.
