Sacco needs to play Wahlstrom with Marchand and Lindholm to see if there's anything there. He played less than 10 minutes tonight, but he saw the ice really well and was involved in plays on both sides of the ice.

Sweeney should move on from Frederic, Coyle, and Brazeau. If a team makes a really good offer for Geekie, the Bruins should think about moving him, but he would be best utilized at #3RW once the other three are dealt.

Bruins are not selling that I would bet my home on.Freddy could be moved because UFA to be .That said Bruins have shown in past they will keep a player in that situation if they smell playoffs. They need help in top 6 though for sure. One more guy that can score .Is Walstrom that guy ,I dunno.Myself I would be open to another addition if Dinny can make it work.

The Bruins may see it that way, but I don't see trading 3rd liners as selling. The Bruins have three players in Providence ready to play in the NHL. If Wahlstrom works in the top 6, the Bruins can use Frederic+ to get that top 6 player. Geekie moves to the 3rd line and has shown he can play all three positions.

Bruins probably don't see these guys in AHL as playoff ready.Maybe Potsy but he is a centre and Coyle Zacha Lindholm not going anywhere.I don't like Potsy on the wing myself but maybe there I guess .If Walstrom works in top 6 it solves the issue but Bruins would be deeper him lower and adding outside help.Anyhow you may be right I am just voicing my side is all.

On the main board, our Ducks guy (pokes in here to talk about former or current Ducks players, nice dude) mentioned that McTavish might be a guy who could benefit from a change of scenery.

That would be my number one want. I doubt he’s on the market but if we could throw all of our assets at that guy I’d be very happy.

Again I think the guys to pick up are young disgruntled centers from underperforming teams.

Think people like Reinhart or Eichel in the past and McTavish, Zegras, or Cozens right now.
Too lazy to look it up. Is he related to Craig McTavish?

I know while Jacobs is still breathing they'll never rebuild or blow it up, but they need to. Its been time for a little while now. Get some young guys in here and see if you can have a good, young, core moving forward. This season hasn't really been all that fun to watch and the results have been mid at best. But I don't expect the Bruins to sell at all because Jacobs needs that home playoff gate.

God forbid a business owner wanting to make money,

Why would a team in the playoff picture blow it up? Please explain.

Glad to see that after a single loss the rebuild is back on the table.

Even better, back to the "home playoff gate" as the ultimate goal.

Yeah Brazeau I would include in a trade if there is a market for him.

My logic with the "playoff gate" is if I'm Mr Businessman/Owner then I would much rather get 3 years of some playoff money with little promise if winning it all, than 3 years of missing the playoffs but with much better promise to winning it all, later.

Owners want to see $$, Fans want to see champions. Big difference there.
