Well Dubas for better or worse did see the void in RH D in the system and drafted to fill that void, Love to see him address RW this draft as well. Unless a center is the better pick, RW is not very good in the system.

Center unquestionably needs to be upgraded. You can get by with so-so RW's, you can't at Center. That said behind the center position, RW would be a solid 2hd. Center needs to be top priority.

Our prospect pool according to several publications I've seen has moved up from 24th-27th to 18th or 19th in the league since the end of last season. That's a nice improvement. Very early, but it's a really good sign.

I was OK with not being good and getting a decent pick to get a center if there. But winning and getting points the last 10 games just to me is not the best way to rebuild the talent. But Pens operates as if they are close to winning and a playoff run. That kind of thinking has it;s merits. But it also keeps the team in middle with boring results. I have to assume the rebuild will be get better players in the system but not the best prospects in the top 5.

Martone’s a wing but I wonder if a guy like him could convert to center.

People knock his skating but I don’t see it. He’s pretty smooth and fluid.

Had a goal too but I think this assist is a better highlight

I’m not saying he’s our future PPQB or anything but we’ve talked about how even NHL stay-at-home guys tended to put up points at lower levels.
