what is Arsenal’s record in that all white kit? Pretty sure LFC knocked them out when they were wearing it last year too

 Arsenal. Havertz in particular. Must have thought they were Spurs with those shirts.

Great finish by Bruno. Happy for Bayindir and Zirkzee. Ref was shit.

The more Amorim gets to train with that team, the better they look like. More organized in defense and midfield, still weak in attack though.

As I mentioned in our last game...when you have a horrible transfer window, you will get horrible results.

Arsenal looking very vulnerable these past few games.
Bro, we are relying on headers from corners to win games and get us out of jail. We've been shambolic the entire season, not just the past few games.

This isn’t true
I am not going to be baited by this comment, but I will mention that we screwed our FFP by buying Havertz, so we couldn't spend any more on what we needed...which was a proper #9 because of the 70 million quid on Kai.

The only buys we were able to do were Merino at 28 million (who was a squad depth signing), Calafiori at 40 million (which wasn't exactly needed as we had Tierney/Zinchenko/Tomiyasu), and Raya at 27 million (not needed because we had Ramsdale). Did we improve? Yes, but not for the sake of fixing the main weakness. Yes, Merino fixes depth. Yes, Raya is better than Ramsdale. Yes, Calafiori was a great buy for his talent. And yes, we spent money, but AFTER selling ESR, Nketiah, Ramsdale, and getting a loan fee for Vieria. That 70 million on Havertz would have given us Osimhen. Our actual difference in transfer sum was -20 million Euros, not a lot for a club like Arsenal which is the wealthiest club in England with the highest ticket sales and Kroenke as majority owner. If you want to know, your last season's transfer sum difference was -112 million Euros, meaning you spent huge loads of funds last season.

This was your whole argument for like, was it last season? Maybe the season before? I can't even keep track anymore
Having a bad window does not help things, but it’s not a death sentence

And whose fault is that?

This doesn’t even sound like a “horrible” window and certainly no one was saying it was “horrible” at the time either. And I’m sure Arteta will whine for more transfers this month too
but AFTER selling ESR, Nketiah, Ramsdale, and getting a loan fee for Vieria.
Yeah that’s how PSR works for every team. And none of those guys would be making a difference; and the depth that replaced them (stated above) was an improvement

The funny think that the Arsenal fans don’t realize is Osimhen/Isak/Gyokeres/etc. would actually be the worst strikers to put into this team

Yes, that was last season. Why are you taking about last season, when this season is being referenced. What did Arsenal spend last season? And this season? How much has Arteta spent in general?

it doesnt even make sense for what its supposed to be
Yeah. Wearing a shirt to signifiy…

…keeping people safe from violence, investing in safe spaces, continue “Social Action Projects”, and award “community champions…making a positive difference” while they continue to employ Thomas Partey doesn’t make sense at all.

Pathetic loss today. I knew we were going to lose on penalties once it got to that, but boy did Havertz really put the cherry on top of his stinker with that pathetic penalty. Hard to blame penalties on a GK (especially in a game we should have won in regular time), but Raya was terrible on the penalties too - committed early to the same side every time, so much so that the United players didn't even have to guess a side.

But in reality, we should have won by 2-3 goals today if not for another game of god awful finishing. Bruno scored an inch perfect shot over Timber's shoulder, but we can't hit the net from within the 6 yard box. Havertz terrible. Rice should have scored his header - he pretty much hit it to the only area the GK could save it. Regular time penalty was undeserved, but Odegaard couldn't even finish that.

Just one of the most infuriating Arsenal games I've had to watch in a while...

Idk exactly, but I can't remember them ever winning in it. They definitely wore it in the loss to Liverpool last year.

Shambolic the entire season is exaggerating. They've been really bad at finishing for the last few weeks especially. And while we can't finish any chances, our opponents seem to keep scoring goals off of 0.1 xG every week.

Doesn't help that Saka is out, and it may only get worse now with Jesus, Timber, and Jorginho coming off injured today to go along with Nwaneri, White, and Calafiori already out.

If we're serious about competing for the title this year, then we need to spend this month. Go out and pay the Nico Williams release clause and try to convince him. If he doesn't want to move, then fine, but there's no good reason we couldn't spend ~60M on him.

Arteta has actually spent less than most (below table is gross spend and net spend since his first full season) - less than Chelsea, Spurs, and United who we've been performing significantly better than. On par with City (gross spend) who already had a billion dollar squad, and more than Liverpool who also already had a PL/CL title winning squad as opposed to the full rebuild that Arteta needed to do.

Has he spent a lot? Yes. Has he spent the money better than most? Also yes. Is he being criticized (seemingly way more than other clubs/managers that have spent more) for not winning the PL? Also yes.

To be clear, today's loss was pathetic.

But now it'll be more ammo for the false narrative that Arteta is a problem/can't win trophies, when in reality he's been great for Arsenal. Not sure how you can blame him when his team missed like 3-4 big chances inside the 6 yard box. Today was on the players, not Arteta.
