VVD for my Ballon d'Or :)
VVD could easily have 2 BDOs. 2 BDOs and hard to say he isn’t best CB ever.

As of right now I guess BDO this year is going to Salah, Virgil or one of the Barca wingers

I dunno cause I feel bad for them. They can’t even revamp the squad cause a lot of these players aren’t worth much. Manager is totally clueless too.
I don’t feel bad for them. They try and they fail. That’s their problem.

Same reason why Rodri is better than Xavi, right?

Award counting is dumb.

Oh I’m with you. I’m just saying being a multiple BDO winner as a defender is nigh impossible; and would have those kind of implications. I would have a hard time comparing Rodri to Xavi because they play completely differently though

It’s salah’s year.

Raphina is making a good case but I think it’s salah’s year. Lamine isn’t quite there yet.

Can't say I'm too worried about the future. They have plenty of good young players. However Kinsky is probably not one of them I guess.

My Danso take is looking pretty solid.

On the topic of CBs, Van Dijk looks so good because he can do whatever he wants without getting carded or even called for a foul. The PGMOL plot armor is thick.

LFC vs Newcastle is a fun final at least. Playing the same teams every year getting a bit stale.

The one draw back here is that LFC’s February schedule just got even tougher. Away games at Bournemouth, Everton, Aston Villa (when we were supposed to have the UCL bye week) and Man City

Yes. LFC February schedule is IMO the title decider. If they finish that month with still 9 pts ahead of Arsenal it is almost pretty much done for the title.

It is. If we can keep that margin going into March, I will feel really good. Arsenal kind of have to be perfect the rest of the way, and are in the easy part of their schedule right now. If it’s going to get tighter it’s going to happen this month

We are going to have one league game in March.
