Ah, maybe that's what he's doing there yeah. I read the quote as him taking credit for the demoralization that came with the penalty.

Either way, I'm fine with his handling of it. There can't be many coaches in the league as candid and honest with the press.

As much as Lemieux has been punched in the head recently he deserves a pass; it's a wonder he can even find the ice.

In the interview, he sounded pretty clear that it was on him. Even brought up that the same thing happened last year where they took a bunch to TMM and he adjusted and it didn’t happen again. He said it’s a communication problem, not guys jumping too fast.

Vali speculated that it’s from line juggling and using vague-ish nicknames that are misheard.

For the suggestion box:

Amend the Post Game 3 stars to 2 and just give Panarin a permanent spot in the top 3.
