How come we are outshot at a 3 to 1 ratio every 1st period? How are they never ready to play?

Defensively they were ok, but offensively they looked like they never played hockey before. I value my sanity during Sundays too much to watch this garbage.
It does matter when they bite you in the ass. Thankfully the PK has been decent

Not just in afternoon games - it has been a thing since beginning of this season with a few exceptions like the Tampa game.
Kreider saying all the right things. Though why was he so damn winded? Usually players are not that winded in interviews.

In all honesty, I wish they’d can this Kids Day crap. They NEVER play well on “Kids Day”. Games are usually snooze fests ending in 2-1 losses.

That wasn’t my point. You make it sound like the Rangers enter the zone with the intention of taking a penalty. Vancouver could have easily been called for two or three more. Interference all over the ice.
That is a typical AV coached team. Unprepared starts were always a problem during his Vancouver tenure. That and his unwillingness to adjust when needed because he's too stubborn.

But that was a penalty and have a lot of the other offensive zone penalties we've taken. They are usually are avoidable.
