Fine with an umbrella in general. In fact I think Pionk running the show up there is fine too.

But trying to understand the logic of putting Chytil in a position he’s clear as day not comfortable in, and moving Zibs away from a position he is comfortable in (and prob a bit overrated in too, but a discussion for another time). That guy is going to get the puck more than anyone, so why put the guy who is currently handling it like a grenade there?

Maybe down the line that will be his wheelhouse. It ain’t right now.

good video showing the different philosophies and pros/cons on the powerplay and if players should be on their strong side or offside. Hayes and Chytil got good shots off on the PP on their strong sides when they could walk into the shot after surrounding the puck.

He is still going to get out muscled in the slot/high slot area, but he probably has a better chance of scoring there.

He's on PP1, what he does out there is kind of up to him. I think most would agree he needs reps.

He's looked mentally overwhelmed before, particularly earlier in the season on extended shifts. That's why he went to the 4th line. But he scored in 5 straight so he needs to sack up. And I'm not a Chytil truther (2 of those 5 games in a row with a goal he played like ass but potted the goal so WHEE) but lumps are gonna feel lumpy sometimes.
