The Caps looks crappy yesterday, but they'll be pissed about the loss, just keep them off of the power play, and forecheck hard. Have Danny G shut down OV, and we'll be fine

And before that they won 5 of 6. Like I said, they have been playing better as of late.

#NYR say Gilroy back in lineup for Roman Hamrlik, Boyle in for Bickel, Biron in net today vs. #Caps.

Bickel finally sits, hooray.

Bout time, but I would have rather had Biron Friday and Hank today. Not really sure on the reasoning for the goalie rotation this weekend.

I guess maybe because Lundqvist won 5 in a row before Friday??? Still seems like with the back to back and a tough team today it would have made sense for Biron Thurs/Fri and Hank today.

Yay, maybe the guys will play better defense in front of The Fifth Element.

On second thought, just have Girardi lay down in front of his 5 hole, and we'll be good.

from multiple reports on twitter form Pat Leonard (@NYDNRangers), Jim Cerny (@JimCerny), Andrew Gross (@AGrossRecord), and New York Rangers (@NYRangers)...
Boyle is in on the 4th line where Bickel was, Gilroy is in for Hamrlik, Biron in net. So Hamrlik and Bickel are scratched today.

Biron in net! HAH! Take that, NBC.

OV is still playing the right side. They have plenty to talk about.

"How comfortable do you think Ovechkin is on RW?"
"Adam Oates was an offensively minded player, why do you guys think he has a sniper playing his right side?"
"Oh look at that, Ovechkin attacked from the left side there!"
"I think that shows Ovechkin's lack of confidence along the right side boards."
"Ovechkin scored 65 goals playing LW. Eddie, do you think he should be put back on the left side?"

Rinse, repeat.

Darn, no chance for a SO win. We have to win it before that.
lgr!

I really disagree with Torts's assessment of JT Miller. He's been better of late, but he's still rather unimpressive. And Torts is searching for players to play WITH HIM? Dude has scored in one game this season. It's time to get off this obsession with jam already, this team needs more secondary scoring. It's getting ridiculous. I was clamoring for bringing in a true third line center all off-season. It would solve a few of these teams problems, had a true 3C been put in place from the start.

He's great for a 3c... 54.3% F/O%, He's good on the baords, He's good at forechecking, he adds speed etc. Anyone but Nash/gaborik is considered secondary scoring and Miller has done a good job with Callahan who is only 1 goal behind Nash/Gaborik.

Kreider - Miller - Cally
Gaborik - Miller - Cally

Both were good lines. Why is he putting Cally back with Stepan now? Especially given the obvious Stepan - Nash chemistry. It's hard not to question Torts with these decisions.
