Let's be real though, how bad was the Rangers defense the first 10 games? He wasn't as bad as his numbers indicated, that said he was still off.

I think we can agree Rangers defense through the first 10 was bush league. It has steadily gotten better, but when they are off they are still brutal.

That was a direct quote from someone who was being literal. But, emotions get the best of us sometimes and the team, and Lundqvist, were certainly far from their best the first 10-12 this year. No question.

I don't know about the contract argument - there's a lot to unpack there.
