What is GSAA? and why the **** is Hanks so high?

Goals Saved Above Average

Basically, you take the league-wide average SV% and apply it to the amount of shots a particular goalie has faced, which gives you an amount of goals given up.

Then you compare that to the actual number of goals given up by that goalie. If you're in the positive, it means you're outperforming league average.

You can then break that down to GSAA/60

While what you say is accurate and Hank was pretty bad at the start, there's a certain element that's really annoying about how Hank sucks and such.
