Every time Cally goes 3 games without a goal, he's a 3rd liner again.

Never mind that he's tied for the team high in goals, despite missing nearly half the season so far

I think that shows how horrible the offense is

I love Callahan, but can we just put Hags on that first line with Nash and Richards? Please? Callahan is like the world's best 3rd liner.

Its the same with Boyle he IS a great 4th liner and should be used as one, he had a nice couple of shifts with Moore and Dorsett in this period just grinding it in the o-zone.

great start horrible finish, del zotto is pressing so bad he should not be out there, talbot real deal no doubt we're down 1 with hank in there, whats with the pitter patter of passes and cyles??? this team can b so frustrating from one game to the other... GOSH!!!

Talbot's composure has greatly impressed me so far.

Your clairvoyance is stunning. How do you do it?

I HATE any suggestion that involves Brassard centering Cally. You're taking a scoring winger who's bread and butter is the forecheck and pairing him with a center who is miserably allergic to physical play.

He'll eventually end up alongside Stepan again. It's where he played best last season, and his style matches Step and Kreider.

And most of those goals are either on the PP or deflections when he's standing around the net. He can't create. Never has, never will. He's great at what he does though.

Del Z... Worthless still. Was hoping he would be back with an edge, but its the same old bs

I m gonna say something crazy here.

We can't shoot. We have no shooters. We are a team full of guys who play hard and can't score.

Del zotto is not gonna help us whether he's here or he's gone.

I can't wait till Cally scores a nice goal and everybody is like O CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN SO SKILLZ.

One period we don't have a goal and the entire team is offensively inept. I forgot how this works.

He shouldn't be counted on for 1st line production. He's a career 2nd liner with good physicality and excellent special teams.

But he and Nash could do well together. Cally loves to throw it blindly into the slot, and Nash likes to hang around in the slot waiting for a pass.

Could work?

Nobody said that.

You said that he has no offensive skills, which is not true. at all.

He creates offense? What lifetime was this? I love Callahan, but playing with an offensive player like Nash and he looks out of place. He isnt an offensive player. He scores yes but he is a PP guy, nothing wrong with that.

If a consistent 60 pt pace isn't an offensive player, Rick Nash isn't a star player.
