Hags has even less offensive creativity than Callahan. He's great on the boards, has insane speed, and is FANTASTIC at making space.

If you want an elite 3rd liner, it's Hags. I love the guy, I hope he's a Ranger for years to come. Not a 1st liner.

Who was on the first line most of last year? Hagelin-Stepan-Nash was the line most if the year. Speed helps alot, Callahan isnt as fast as Hagelin which is why i dont think he fits there. I like Cally on the 2nd line and 1st PP unit.

Just for the record, saying Callahan is a 3rd liner on a team like Chicago, is also saying that he's a 2nd liner on pretty much any team. I just don't see 1st line offensive talent in him.
