i 100% agree but he showed signs of breaking out of it before the hit he took he wasnt up to the play he should be at but he was getting better.

Maybe this is what skyrockets him up. Cause i think its a confidence thing and a goal is all you need. just like in baseball a hit is what you need to break a slump.

To be fair, Richards was on basically a 2 on 1 there. On the power play he is absolutely terrible at shooting it past opposing players. At least, this year, he has been.

Re-watch that 1st PP and take a look at Brad trying to shoot the puck man. I like Richards, but when a player makes a bad play, I call them out on it.

I love that he scored, it doesn't change the way he's been all year though. That is HF syndrome. One player does ONE good thing, and all of a sudden 'HE'S BACK!' or 'TOLD YA SO!'

If Richards makes a turn around from this point on, skates hard, shoots the puck with authority, makes smart passes, and sets up plays...etc etc etc then I will eat crow.

Until then...the jury is OUT on him and his absurd contract.

Just be sure we're agreeing on the meaning of "the jury is out", it means we don't have a comprehensive amount of evidence or time to come to a verdict just yet.

In that case, I partly agree. Richards can bring to this team what fewer than 20-15 centers in the league can. He needs to play like it.

that was a ridiculous question and poorly worded. i wasnt sure if was this season or all time. and i was never guessing arron asham. it probably took him 5 months to get those 8 3rd period goals lol.
