Bjornfot is playing exactly as he did in his draft year, and that's a good thing. 4-direction mobility, 2-way responsibility, and assertively with and without the puck.
My top-5 defensemen that year were:
Byram
Heinola
Seider
Bjornfot
Harley
Was very happy when Broberg, York, and Soderstrom went high - relieved my anxiety the Kings would take them.
Bjornfot is where he should be doing what he should. With the right partner, I think he could top out at a no. 2 spot, but if the worst he becomes is a good, bottom-4 blueliner (which he already is), then that's fine.
He's definitely not having a bad season.
