They did a lot of good things offensively, there are reasons for optimism in their play, and they ended the period closer to a better draft pick than when they started it. What's not to enjoy?

Yeah he’s really a strong skater and decent at retrieving so it looked decent for most of this game so far. Not many options honestly to put with Michkov and Frost.

Eichel has had a strange career. He was the 1C on a cup winner but it feels like he’s been a bit of a disappointment; 50+ points as a rookie and then a point a game player his sophomore year…and that’s pretty much what he’s been his whole career. It’s consistent and good but watching a teenage Eichel I would have expected more. Seems like he’s legit breaking out this year though
