I like how the team is balancing out. There is skill, speed and strength on all four lines. Defense is solid and we have two quality goalies (what teams can say that?). Plus we have a few capable call ups. I like how we look going forward into the season. I am sure we will finish right up or at least near the top of the conference.

Ever since the eye injury, it seems Marc Staal's heart just isn't in it like it used to be. I can understand. When you almost lose your vision, and your eye is changed forever your perspective changes a bit.

I think it will be time to move on after this season. No way we can offer him a long term new contract.
