Lesson, when you’re being punched, punch back. Don’t assume you will get the call. What it causes is frustration for the entire ducks team at the no call, contrastly mac fights back and he gives the team a jump of energy.

Totally agree with this take. That's a loss I can live with any day of the week. Team is showing real improvement.

Oh come on lol, if McTavish punched him back he'd 100% get called for it and this board would go apeshit on him for taking a penalty

It would be even up. And, I was suggesting he challenge kempe to a fight right there on the spot. Mac is a smaller guy, but very big. He shouldn’t be allergic to fighting, can’t imagine old man Cronin has told mac not to fight. He would probably welcome it( give the team a jolt ) kempe always runs around and acts like a tough guy v us. Someone needs to square up with him or at least make the offer

Good. For the jake Rudolph’s of the world who say “ he doesn’t need to do that” people are paying good money to see the ducks lose a bunch of games at home. They need to see that the team cares about losing and is fed up with it just like them.

Man I miss Perry Kesler and getzlaf saying, you know what. We just lost but I’m going to smash the f out of this villain in front of me. It was a culture where when they lost, they took it out on the other team. Not pout and take it home with them.

I actually think he should regardless…. He’s not great defensively, he’s not very physical…. No where near the skill of Carlson/sennecke/zegras z

The Kings are known for a low scoring game. They made us play their game and their goalie had a great game. That toe save on Terry was amazing! Hot goalie > finishers. WE should know since we've stolen lots of games b/c of great goal tending. Conversely, why didn't you say, "This team needs a better goaltending!"?

Our problem was making mistakes against this veteran team. We could have won 1-0 if we didn't make mistakes. We could have earned a point if we didn't make a 2nd mistake. If our PP has a better design, then we might have scored another goal. We had trouble getting into the zone on the PP, which reduces our chances of actually increasing our chances of "finishing".

It's a 2-1 loss to a team that clogs up the neutral zone, especially with a lead, to make us tired before going into the Ozone. That's part of the Kings game plan in reducing goals against chances.

This was a good game even though we lost. We had our chances, but their goalie was on it today.

Yea. Gudas on that was criminal. Deflated a good effort

Zegras turnover on 1st goal was not great either but z was good all night

Didn’t watch the game but we need to afford mctavish the time to work through these things. We’ve had the benefit of watching older versions of the ducks work through these hiccups - he’s still figuring things out for the first time.

Escaping with a 2-1 win against a bottom barrel team who out shot ya close to 2:1 should give the Kings a not-so-great outlook. A toe pick was the difference between a 2-1 win and it going to OT.

You know well enough it's always the unhealthy 9+/9 chihuahuas with 2 teeth left that make the most noise from the owner's lap. Only to urinate themselves once the going gets tough.

The die-hards on here are cool, but the casuals are probably the dumbest fans in all of sports, and I say that as a Raiders fan.
