Only because Machinehead has calmed down abit since then. Every now and then Machinehead will have a positive post.

Every now and then the Rangers give me something positive to post about

I've always said my mood matches the team. I'm very happy with the team tonight. It's just a heist job. The only guy I'm not thrilled with is Lundqvist. If the other team's goalie stops 32 out of 33 I expect better than 2 on 13 from mine.

Most nights he is great. Tonight he isnt as sharp. Both goals he probably could have stopped. The second he seemed a bit surprised maybe because it was a shorthanded shot

He was surprised? The guy was coming right at him, and just weakly threw it at him...

First of all that wasn't even a full breakaway. The guy had only a weak backhander option. There was a Ranger all over him. What are you talking about?

What are you talking about? He had plenty of room even with a Ranger on him. Lets not break down the difference between a breakaway and a half-breakaway.

Snowblind has become a very good poster, though, too. I had him on ignore back in the day but I think he's become quite a solid contributor on here.

When he's not blindly hating on people he's an excellent poster. He knows his ****. He does blindly hate a lot and will say stupid things when he's angry.

********. That would be true if he collided with him in the crease. It's not his job to avoid a goalie outside of the crease when he's not choosing to initiate contact.

How often do players choose to initiate contact with a goalie? I'd say the vast majority of the penalties are accidental, but it's too bad.

It's not a good goal to give up by Lundqvist. That's the kind of thing he should save. His game has fallen off a little this year so far but I'm still more than happy to have him and think he'll get better as the year goes on. Since he's already pretty damn good...

I would actually say the exact opposite as you. Incidental contact outside of the crease is not supposed to be a penalty. Almost every time it's called, it was pretty obvious the guy wanted to contact the goalie or saw him and did nothing to avoid contact.

In this case, Dorsett was turned around. Should have been no call.

There's a huge difference. He didn't have that many options. He needs to stop that I'm sorry. People just can't stand to have their God **** the bed.

The ref saw Rask get hit by Dorsett, but you're saying it shouldn't be a penalty? Dorsett had the chance to avoid hitting Rask, but instead decided to turn around and hit Rask with his back. He could have just skated away. He had enough time.

Dorsett was skating full speed at Rask and then turned to skate to the side of the net instead of plowing right through the middle of it. Unfortunately, Rask slid out to that side of the net too. I've never read the rulebook to know how much room Rask is allowed, but he was pretty much out of the crease there.Maybe it is a penalty but I certainly dont blame DD there.

Chara isn't on the ice 60 minutes guarding Rask, and even if he was, they have to pay the price and get in Rask's face.

Lundqvist is now losing us games. Bottom line. He's a ****ing liability out there. He's not the same goaltender he was even last year. I'd seriously be more confident with Talbot right now.

If we keep up our play we should be able to win this game. We've completely dominated almost the entire game.

Yup. Goals will come. At least we are playing well and generating chances.

please tell me what makes him elite?

is it the way he handles the puck, or the way he stays deep in net, or the way he stops the over the shoulder goals, or the way he's get out of position cause a puck should never be deflected when he's in net or .... PLEASE, i been watchin other goalies from other teams, the only thing different i see is his blonde hair and blue eyes!

I thought you weren't posting here anymore.

Good bye now.
