I'm a teacher. On a daily basis, I see the difference between an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old kid. 5.1 to 13 years old is very small. That's the height of an average kid of 6th grade. To be an NHL goaltender, the standards are even higher.

As already said, I was taller than him at the same age and my adult height is insufficient for NHL standards.

I don't know where you read that I said he was a man. Overreaction.

In an NHL where goalies under 6.0 have no chance of being selected, someone who is 5.1 at 13 has no chance. At that age, I was 5.5 and having had normal growth, I reached 5.11. No overreaction. Just thinking.

If you had thought about the average height of a 13 year old man you would not have written your message.

As for Orechovsky's stature...
At this tournament in the Czech team, two players were noticeably taller than the others. These are f Adamkov and g Orechovsky. The gif shows that Adamkov (also an interesting prospect) is a head taller than his friend, who rolled up to him to celebrate the goal. And Orechovsky is 1 cm taller than Adamkov.
Orechovsky's height is currently 5' 10.5''.

Frans Karjalahti out of Finland is very hyped. Maddox Schultz in Saskatchewan is putting up good numbers. That's all I really know.

Hyped is a great word. Small-frame and relatively weak juniors rarely turn into NHL drafts.

175cm at age 13 smallest guy of the draft, pretty tall boys draft coming. Only 200cm+ players will get drafted?
