Niko Fatyka - Out of the very few publiclly available stats for the WSI-U12 last year - Fatyka lead in scoring. Interesting stuff to say the least.

Lennox Ullmann - late birthday ‘09 playing in Mannheim’s system. Notable because of that alone.

My son is 2031 eligible. He’s 4’2 55 lbs. Size is definitely the knock on him, but he scored 2 goals this weekend in a game against the 2030 eligible squirts this weekend. Keep an eye on him.

I couldn’t say with any amount of confidence.

Assuming he turns out good enough, I have a feeling (it is really no more than that) that we will have a similar situation as with Alex Ciernik, so I am leaning towards Slovakia.

Either way I am rooting for the kid, and since he is playing near where I live, I may actually get a chance to see him play in person this season.
Or maybe next season, if he stays with the club.

I mean, Frans Karjalahti at least has played Finnish u16 league, 6 games for 7 points.

Why pretend that they're still in skating school or something?

What do you expect? Theyre 12 and getting thru puberty, its insane to think you can project who is going to develope at what level.

Yeah, generally you can only project the very special talents. However, the first time I saw Connor Bedard at WSI when he was 13 years old and I certainly think you could tell that he'll be quite good.
