2026 UFA targets

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
I tend to disagree. He scored at a 68 point per 82 game clip the last 2 years. The team was basically carried by a great power play these last 2 years and he was a big part of that.

I get his complete and defensive play can be suspect. But overall he was a key offensive piece.

He is only helpful offensively. He is a hindrance everywhere else and also a bad example for the younger players who are told to play hard in both ends, when he doesn't. That was fine when he a prime player but he is no longer that. He was quite slow especially in the second half and that will continue, cause he 38 years old.

Availability is a skill. I'm not interested in a guy at the end of his career that will miss 15-20 games a year going forward. He can retire or go play for a contender, and his roster spot can go to a kid or other player that fits the timeline.

Ah, yes…

My favorite summer activity - watching everyone else in our conference get better while we do nothing .

We got them right where we want them. Once we've lured them into a false sense of security we will be perfectly positioned to further sabotage ourselves. Our rivals will never even see it coming.

Cap skyrocketing is Yzerman's fault?

This is getting even better.
Never said it was his fault but it’s hurt the team for sure

Who did he cap dump? Walman wasn't a cap dump if you are going to mention him. He was traded for some other reason, Yzerman won't even talk about.
Look how tight they were to the cap, he dumped walman and he dumped Fabbri
