Would Avs fans have interest in Jake McCabe or OEL?

McCabe for Nikushkin + 3rd was what I was hoping for or OEL 1 for 1

But not sure if Avs would want that or would be looking at a younger target like Ryker Evans who isnt as high a cap hit as OEL and McCabe but is considerably worse as a player currently.

You had me at McCabe is younger.

McCabe isn't good, isn't big, isn't on a cheap contract.

He isn't bad or small or expensive.

But he just exists and is mediocre in every aspect the Avs should be targeting.

Trading assets for McCabe would be like having erectile dysfunction for 3 years and trying to initiate sex with your wife.

And bednar couldn't bench him because of his physicality, likely due to the way we acquire him, and position in our defense.
