Red Sox/MLB 2026 Regular Season IV, 32-46

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
This is a f***ing joke

11 games under, season worst

0% better since firing Cora

Send the private jet down to Tampa

Wait. So they have not suddenly turned into a juggernaut after firing a no name hitting coach and a league wide well respected manager that led this franchise to the best season in history. Who knew…

This will not stop by just doctoring at symptoms. And Breslow is such a symptom, just like Bloom was. These guys are not completely terrible or clueless, the organisation doesn‘t help them and makes it even more difficult for anyone to thrive. What they‘d need is a complete overhaul which is not going to happen since it would also include the ownership itself.

The real downfall with this franchise has begun on the day of the Dombrowski firing. The fanbase didn‘t want to realize it at that point, but it was all you needed to know about the ambitions and seriousness of the FSG going forward.

Braden Montgomery walk off homer in his debut 😭
The White Sox are something special this year. You see it. You feel it. Completely opposite of the Red Sox.

Every player we trades for Crochet is having a great season 😭

(Teel is still hurt. But he'll probably be fine when he comes back too)

They have that Pope magic

The college of Cardinals should've chosen some guy from Southie, qui sibi nomen imposuit Nomarem Primi

IF all 4 or even 3 of 4 turn into legit quality major leaguers it does make you think about the Crochet deal. He's currently out of course. It would be peak Breslow for this to somehow not end up the slam dunk I thought it was.

My whole thing was they weren't close even if Crochet worked out perfectly! That's proving to be completely true!

Brewers extended one of their prospects in AAA Luis Lara. If the pop he’s showing this year is real that could end up being a steal

Why didn't the Sox keep May as a #5 starter (considering the price they paid for him)?
I can't get on board with you here. Trading for Dustin May was a disaster. Right move to cut ties regardless if he's pitching well this year. Maybe he's enjoying being out of the spotlight of LA/Boston. If Crochet is healthy May would be the #6 starter on this team at best.

Gasper catching again 🤦‍♂️

Marcelo scratched because of neck/upper back soreness, this won’t linger for a month at all

Remember that when they did the trade they didn't have an extension in place and through spring training last year there was a real threat of Crochet hitting free agency after team control ran out this year. If they didn't get that done and all these prospects became stars in Chicago, imagine how ugly that would've been.

The haters don’t wanna hear it but they should’ve given Chaim longer. We got a sickness and the only remedy is more Chaim

.......Legit afraid to say I agree because I don't want to get into it in any real depth, but here goes nothing:

I genuinely think Chaim did a good job considering the circumstances. Ownership very clearly had him handcuffed and they only loosened them (without fully taking them off) when they hired Breslow.

Abort the season

This can't continue. You can't fire the manage, possibly get WORSE and then let the front office stay.

DO SOMETHING
