Dude you are completely wrong and just totally making up crap. P Bruins couldn’t friggin score. All these games were tight. This isn’t on the goalie hell he pitched a damn shutout in the elimination game and it took OT to finally get one by him and P Bruins couldn’t muster one goal. Is he supposed to score for them too?

Trading for a declining EP would be a gamble of the highest order, I wonder if he really has the passion for the game anymore. If Andersson dosen't resign with Vegas I do think there is a decent chance that Sweeney brings him to Boston.

I dont like the concept either but if ep40 does find his former game and clicks with pasta could be a good get. Hes only 27 just worried what goes back and how the cap thing will work out?

Thanks for passing that on. I'm not really buying what Grier says though, the 9OA pick isn't that great of value for a player who the Sharks recently drafted and developed. For a team that is expected to make a hard push for this year's playoffs, this trade hurts them. I still think there is a lot more that we don't know about.

I don’t think it hurts them at all. MG didn’t draft him he wasn’t his guy. Once he signed that bridge deal the writing was on the wall. They get Sten at two who i believe has a higher ceiling. They can draft what ever best available defenseman left at nine or packaged the 9th and 27th pick to move up couple spots and get their guy. MG has a vision for the sharks and its coming along very very very nicely.

I have not watched the whole thing, but if you listen to Sweeney's comments about Matthew, it seems pretty clear that this quote unquote good player is on his way out. I hope they at least give him one more chance at third line center, or more likely on the wing.

They mishandled Poitrss, who has his flaws, and basically screwed up his confidence. He regressed in Providence this past season, according to what I hear.

It's a shame.

And the shame isn't on the player,

They didn't mishandle Poitras. He's had around 70 games to prove himself in the NHL.

Would have had more if he could stay healthy......

To be fair if we were talking about more realistic moves it would still have no bearing either way.

Better conversations sure but sometimes in the offseason we just have to roll with what we have around here. I’m enjoying this time through. No doubt it gets old fast.
