Boston Bruins 2026 Offseason Roster & Salary Cap Thread VIII

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.

There's simply no situation to monitor. Gonna watch USA bundle Turkey and hit the hay. See you all at day 3 of the meltdown mixer tomorrow!

Or just go all out and bring in Gudas and let him do whatever he wants with Z
I’d actually prefer this to any other option at this point just for the hilarity of it.

Zadorov and Gudas would be a nightmare for some teams.. atleast physically..

Other than that, just play kids at this point. It’s getting ridiculous. Select a high upside swing at 23 and trade up in the 2nd in the top 40 to take another high upside swing.

Did we not like Mougenel? What's the deal there?
Sturm hired another AHL head coach to be his assistant not ours

if Mougenel goal is to get to the NHL and you were bypassed and there are no immediate openings now or in the future in Boston- and you get to go to the NHL with Vancouver I know I’m ecstatic

I’m sure some here would enjoy staying in Providence playing Springfield 18 times. Not me

Washington might not tax wages, but they do have a wealth tax of, I believe 9.99%, on $1m+ of income
No, they have no income tax. They also don't have a wealth tax (a tax based on net worth or financial assets). They do tax capital gains on investments (at 9.99%), but that's only if you cash out the stock or investment.

Same, shockingly. I was a pro Andersson guy and still am but I'm thinking a short term deal for a guy like Trouba so it gives them time to draft and develop a long term solution.

Would this team make the playoffs and be a better playoff team than this year?
Would you watch this team play next year?

I don’t love that third line but if Poitras / Lysell / Steeves beats out Eyssimont and Kuraly is not on our top 12 then I’m okay I think.

That’s playoff d for sure, but are they too slow.
