This is ridiculous at this point.

All I said it would be something for Mike Grier to consider.

The point of posting the contents of that stupid Jesse Pollak tweet to was to demonstrate that the Sharks are becoming a destination. And in the unlikley reality that WPG comes to the Sharks and says "Hey, Hellebuyck wants out and San Jose is one of the few teams he's interested in", all im saying is that Grier would have a lot to think about. ESPECIALLY if he is low on Asky (which he legit might be).

That's it. That's all I said. I didnt say we should make the trade, in fact I said the opposite.

Y'all are the ones goofing this up with ridiculous hyperbole like "Grier would be fired on the spot if he even thought about this for a nanosecond" and taking some innocuous post WAY too far.

i think its more other fan bases like the sharks prospects... than Hellebuyck wants SJ.

Jesse is a Jets fan... he wants Asky and the 2OA... he isn't looking out for Hellebuyck.

That would be my only challenge.

Its obvious SJ has done a good job of getting exciting talent... because everyone and their mother is mocking their players who want out for Shark players. Be it TOR with matthews, DET with Larkin, WPG with Hellebuyck, etc etc.

Found an article talking about Dan Milstein's Russian prospect showcase event that is happening this weekend and there are definitely some names to keep an eye on that could be possible targets at pick #27. Some funny parts about Igor Chernyshov and the sunburn situation and Grier is actually mentioned where he thanked Milstein for having that occur and even gave him another name that he is targeting...possible Pugachev or Shcherbakov interest from Grier?

"Igor Chernyshov was projected to be a mid-first-round pick a few years ago,” Milstein recalled. “A day before the showcase, I always take the guys out on a yacht. He was burnt to ashes [with a sunburn]. For the next five days, he did not leave his hotel room because he was hurting. It definitely didn’t help his stock.”

“Now we have the Igor Chernyshov Award — it will be handed out to whoever comes out the darkest this year after their day on the boat, or burnt or whatever,” Milstein said with a bit of a chuckle. “In fact, I was just talking to Mike Grier [Sharks GM], and he basically thanked me and he gave me another name for this year. I’m not gonna tell you which one, but he said, ‘Make sure this guy burns too.’ “

“Some of my guys, like Gleb Pugachev and [Nikita] Shcherbakov, they have over 20 teams that have set up interviews with them,” Milstein shared. “[Dmitri] Borichev, he is my next Andrei Vasilevskiy of this Draft. He already has 24 teams that want to interview him.

yes to both. I think i prefer Shcherbakov slightly over Pugachey.... but both are good. I just think their is more upside with Shcherbakov.

Big fan of Pugachyov. Type of guy you love to have in your bottom 6 but I actually think his upside is higher than that.

The burnt mark will be the sign for our 27th draft pick. If several, it means we are trading down for multiple 2nds...

Former Director of Amateur Scouting for the Florida Panthers has Stenberg ranked 1st overall, and likens him to a wing version of Alex Barkov. He also has Chase Reid ranked 6th for what it’s worth.
